Job Description:

Mobile Service Technicians are part of our service teams and are solely responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day service operations ensuring customer satisfaction on location. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an impeccable service experience to every Tesla customer during the maintenance and service of their vehicles. This role will be a hands-on technical role and you will also be working at local Service Centers when required. To deliver excellent service to our customers at all times, Mobile service technicians will be provided with high quality equipment and have the latest training in our technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Exceed customers’ expectations by implementing high standards and processes to continuously elevate the overall Mobile service experience
  • Carry out basic technical repairs and non HV diagnostic work without supervision, e.g. Interior components, Maintenance, charging related issues, Alert analysis, Extensive knowledge of accessories and their functions, Implementing Recalls/Bulletins, Fluid replenishment, Door handle maintenance and adjustments, Basic Diagnostics, Body Adjustments
  • Help customers understand the technology and the particularities of their vehicles
  • Develop a knowledge of all Tesla products, Service systems, processes, and procedures
  • Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
  • Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials
  • Follow all Tesla specified Repair Guidelines to the accepted Quality levels
  • Support other Service centers on an as- needed basis
  • Prioritize safe work and follow all safety instructions and training
  • Respect deadlines and planning obligations

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of technical work experience in automotive industry
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair in the automotive industry. Technical acumen is required
  • Motivated to work in a high paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in Korean and basic level of English is preferred
  • Possess a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset
  • Industrial Engineer Motor Vehicles Maintenance license or a related license preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Associate Degree or certificate in Automotive Technology, preferred
  • Work as a team over long distances and achieve common goals
