Job Description:

We’re seeking a PMO Analyst, to join the PMO of our Improvement team. In this role you will support the management of the CEC Improvement Plan by ensuring our plans are benefits led and effectively prioritised to deliver the CEC key objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting cross stream projects by managing the plan and RACI, facilitating workshops, focus groups and Natural Work Teams (NWTs), maintaining next steps to delivery and ensuring best practice is always applied
  • Ensure individual plans are benefits led and that measures of success and outcomes are tracked back, so we maintain alignment with the Tesco Business Services strategy and core CEC objectives
  • Being an ambassador for change in the CECs, embracing change and positively influencing others to do the same, identifying and surfacing improvements to leadership
  • Coaching and supporting project owners in best practice so that plans are manged correctly to maintain a consistent quality across the programme
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders working in partnership to fully understand their requirements, ensure project milestones and delivery deadlines are met, and help produce timely and accurate updates
  • Supporting the Improvement Manager (PMO) to ensure we have a complete and effectively prioritised overall Improvement Plan for the CECs, which includes supporting with and writing business cases/ project briefs and plans for each project owner, identifying dependencies & critical milestones and ensuring broader CEC resources are being used effectively
  • Leading my own streams of work effectively, making recommendations for change, effectively delivering change that adds value for colleagues and customers, and knowing when to take ownership to avoid missing key project deadlines
  • Helping ensure all plans are maintained, detailed and up to date and that benefits are delivered effectively and on time, including keeping appropriate documentation & tracking next steps, and surfacing risks & issues

Job Requirements:

  • Project administration; producing project plans, managing critical paths, maintaining RACIs and risk logs
  • Organising and planning, effective prioritisation and issue management
  • Stakeholder management and engagement, including effective influencing & communication skills
  • PFQ, PMQ and AMP or similar methodology
  • Managing and delivering change
  • Facilitation skills
  • Project Assistant, Programme Office, Change Management or similar
