Job Description:

As Channel Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for supporting a cross section of TELUS channel partners such as independent retailers (i.e. Best Buy, Apple, Walmart, Wow Mobile, etc.).This includes driving overall transactions across a variety of product lines (including Future Friendly Home services for consumer and wireless for consumer and small business) while helping to achieve our goal of providing our clients a best-in-class experience.This will be accomplished by providing our partners with the most reliable sales support through exceptional responsiveness, leveraging relationships as a competitive advantage, and ensuring every interaction lives up to the TELUS brand promise.

Job Responsibilities:

Educate channel partners on TELUS’ value proposition to ensure top of mind awareness of TELUSProviding our partners with the most reliable sales support through exceptional responsiveness, leveraging relationships as a competitive advantage
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to service assigned partner locations in an efficient and effective manner to maximize return and achieve total transactions target
Anticipate and respond to challenges encountered by our channel partners and appropriately escalate unresolved issues
Represent the TELUS brand in the territory and communities you serve, and provide market-specific guidance to internal stakeholders to maximize the return on TELUS’ investments in those markets
Ensure the TELUS brand is represented well and merchandising standards are met
Gather and report on competitive information

Job Requirements:

Ability to influence and affect behavior change with individuals through effective coaching and training facilitation
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, through self-discipline and leveraging strong time management and organizational skills
Passionate about TELUS and the customer
Task and goal oriented
Strong leadership qualities and the demonstrated ability to be a team player
Knowledgeable about the Canadian wireless market is an asset
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office
Proficient with Powerpoint
Ability to do presentations and trainings to small and large groups
