Job Description:

The PHI Vaccines Launch Excellence & Access Planning (LEAP), Implementation Lead will drive the Value & Access elements and execution of Pfizer’s Launch Navigation Approach for our Pneumococcal franchise. The successful candidate will ensure optimal CH&V launch readiness, with an immediate focus on our next generation pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV20), across both Adult and Pediatric indications.

They will be responsible for successful execution of our Access Roadmaps in prioritized markets. The Implementation Lead will work with the Value & Access Strategy Lead (VASL) and our inline IDM and EM Implementation Leads to allow us to meet key Pricing & Market Access milestones for a successful launch of PCV20.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct all activities and makes decisions that are in fully in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & global regulatory guidelines.
Maintain dynamic Access Roadmaps for PCV20 across Ped and Adult launches
Support evolution of the Global Pricing & Access (GPA) policy as key lifecycle / launch navigation milestones dictate.
Identify internal and external best practices for our business and provide support in the implementation as required.
Support the VASTL/VASL with key tactical insights that can shape internal discussions between Adult and Pediatric Franchise teams.
Lead the PHI implementation and launch excellence efforts with ex-US country health & value teams for PCV20
Provide Access Readiness & Launch Excellence feedback into the annual operations planning process to ensure all key initiatives are appropriately prioritized and funded
Support implementation of GLOCAL value tools to communicate the public health and economic value of the Pneumococcal franchise.
Represent “voice of the payer” to internal stakeholders
Ensure optimal value and access resourcing that allows PCV20 meet the key launch navigation stage gates, devise mitigation plans where gaps exist.
Collective advantage – Ensure complementary implementation plans in place that optimize long term value for Pfizer Inc.
Ensure the local needs and perspective is appropriately incorporated into Glocal Access plans.
The successful candidate should have a good executive presence and be available as needed for regular updates to the Vaccines Leadership team (VLT) and PHI Vaccines

Job Requirements:

Strong Knowledge and understanding of pricing, market access and associated skills.
Familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes
Proven ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization
Prior experiences in the field of vaccines, specialist medicines procurement, multiples disease areas and/or tender and contracting environments
Strong Knowledge and understanding of health policy evaluation / health economics and associated skills.
Experience of interacting with external stakeholders and utilizing relationships to the benefit of the business through understanding of patient needs and insights
Strong Project management skills
Pharmaceutical business leadership, including experience in strategy development and interaction with customers.
