You provide exceptional member service, by sharing your expertise and advice to match people with gear that suits their needs. You provide exceptional service by talking to members about our products, helping them find what they need, asking them back and thanking them with a smile. You not only love sharing personal recommendations, but you are also dedicated to sharing MEC’s vision, values and passion for the outdoors.

You are a ‘can do’ person who likes to learn new things. You are good-natured and have a welcoming vibe. You’re outgoing and genuinely like helping people. Customer service is not just your skill, it’s your mindset. You will go out of your way to provide an excellent member experience. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, not a must. You can lift 50 lbs. and walk 10,000 steps per day.
You’re passionate about the outdoors. You have product knowledge in camping, cycling, packs or any other outdoor activity, that’s a great asset. You have open availability to work a variety of shifts between Thursday and Sunday, 07:00 am and 7:00 pm.
