The International Inequalities Institute (III) and Atlantic Fellows in Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE) programme based in the III is committed to building a community of people who are “committed to using collective leadership to work towards social and economic justice for all”. The III is one of the world’s leading research centres on inequality, its causes, and its consequences.

III is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide pro-active administrative support to the III Director and the AFSEE Executive Director, coordinating their professional agendas and liaising with internal and external individuals and organisations to maximise the effectiveness and impact of the Directors’ workloads. As a key member of the Directors’ team, the Executive Assistant will be central to the effectiveness and success of the Institute’s activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience of interacting effectively in a wide variety of environments and with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally – demonstrating discretion where appropriate
  • Secretarial and administrative experience at a senior level with a particular focus on complex diary management
  • A thorough and detailed approach with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience of servicing governance meetings and producing accurate minutes and/or meeting notes
  • Experience of working in an administrative role, and of maintaining, adapting and implementing administrative systems
