Job Description:

This position requires a Top Secret Security Clearance with an investigation date within 5 years and the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.

The Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) supports Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs at the Consolidated Aurora SBIRS Area (CASA) facility in Denver, CO and assists the Boulder Facility Security Officer (FSO) as required.

Job Responsibilities:

Security education, briefings and debriefings, personnel security management, domestic and international visitor support, pre and post foreign travel tracking and briefings, and other tasks as required.
Work closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seek security rulings or deviations.
Create presentations and training, write/develop/implement procedures, and provide excellent customer service.
Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership.
Maintains the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
