Job Responsibilities:

  • Simplifying the way we run HSBC, introducing automation to reduce workload and costs and improve the experience of customers
  • Helping to drive change for the bank’s global businesses and functions, for the benefit of HSBC and our customers
  • Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the functions, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology
  • Support the business lines in improving input quality
  • Review, recognize and implement opportunities to drive down costs, by improving processes with and without technology solutions and eradicating unnecessary processes
  • Initiate and implement innovative solutions to complex Operations issues
  • Managing the day-to-day transactions of the Wealth and Personal banking business
  • Running operations for our Commercial Banking business and supporting our Global Banking and Markets businesses to serve customers across their global networks

Job Requirements:

  • Strong relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels within Canada and across the Group
  • High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives
  • Ability to leverage resources available to achieve goals
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and planning skills in order to cope with responsibilities
  • Excellent knowledge in designing methodologies towards process streamlining that result in saves for the organization
