Job Description:

Working to the company’s brand guidelines within a large multi-lingual team, you will be required to oversee the team who produces all content into Italian and making sure our many Italian partners are catered to.

Reporting into one of three Content Manager – Linguistic Services you will be an tried and tested leader, with previous experience working in an environment which is fast-paced, and deadline driven. Ideally, this would have been within a localisation or linguistics specialist role with a passion to produce amazing content for customers who love fashion.


Job Responsibilities:

  • You will supervise two verticals of content: Marketing, related to all our creative content, and Product, for everything around our products and the purchase journey
  • You will guarantee that the tone of voice and quality of the Italian language reflects the core Farfetch brand, but also delivers the best customer experience for the Italian-speaking specific market
  • You will be responsible for delivering project localisation according to the guidelines provided by the Coordination Team
  • You will collaborate with various stakeholders across Content Department and others to help evolve the Farfetch business
  • You will be working closely with the Content Management and internal stakeholders to define the Italian Content strategy
  • You will be responsible for the allocation of tasks, capacity control, budgeting and setting up localisation targets
  • You will be directly managing a freelance network of 2+ Italian freelancers who support the core team on a daily basis
  • You will be required to support on ad-hoc resourcing of writers according to business requirements (limited)
  • You will have Sub-Editing responsibilities when our Italian Sub-Editor is on out of office

Job Requirements:

  • You are an independent “self-starter” with an excellent knowledge of content best practices, and a solid understanding of garment and accessory construction
  • You are highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • You are target focused and result driven, with the ability to work quickly and to agreed daily targets and deadline
  • You have knowledge and love of fashion at all levels from high-end designers to cutting edge street style
  • You have a writing style that is accurate and adaptable, with an impeccable use of grammar
  • You are comfortable with digital work on both in-house and external CMS
  • You are experienced with working in localisation projects for e-commerce website, preferably luxury fashion retail
