Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the financial success of the store, ensure it is well-run, well-merchandised and well-staffed

- Effectively manage budgets and cost centres, driving positive Store Profitability

- Ensure leadership and store staff schedules are fully optimized to drive sales and productivity

- Is an agent of change within their store
- Develop a high-performing leadership team that is accountable for creating a best-in-class employee experience
- Inspire a customer-centric culture in stores bringing to life Indigo’s mission of creating joy and enriching lives
- Ensure teams drive best-in-class employee engagement and net promoter scores
- Gain alignment with Regional Director on store specific goals and objectives for fiscal year
- Hold team accountable for operational excellence

Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in specialty retail and/or multi-unit retail business environments
- 5+ years of management or leadership experience with demonstrable skills and success in leading and developing others
- Proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Experience leading leaders
- Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
