Job Description:

We are looking for a UX Designer to join our digital team, who will be responsible for creating an outstanding content experience on our iShares.com US site. In this role you will be working closely with the product team and are responsible for designing and enhancing websites and mobile apps across BlackRock’s digital ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with key project team members, including developers, design leads, product managers and technology leads to deliver end-to-end solutions
Work closely with partners to develop scenarios, personas, storyboards and user journeys
Champion user-centered design principles, and rely on these principles to create experiences that meet user needs (while simultaneously addressing business goals)
Transform ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into tangible experiences that provide clear, usable, useful, and desirable outcomes for users.
Identify opportunities for user research

Job Requirements:

Strong story-telling and presentation skills in explaining interactions, scenarios and story boards
Ability to take a concept, wireframes, or design and build off of it in a seamless style
Effectively act on internal feedback, user testing results and learnings to iterate designs that deliver more value for the user and business
Fluent in industry tools (Sketch, InVision, etc)
Understanding of content
Skilled in aspects of visual design, including production
Must have 2–5 years design experience in either product related or agency environments designing consumer facing applications, websites and mobile experiences
Ability to interface with development teams to ensure design delivery meets high quality standards
