Job Description:

The training co-ordinator plays a key role within the Lean Thinking team. The training coordinator is responsible for coordinating all training delivered by the lean coaches, ensuring quality and delivery of preparation, execution and follow-up. The training coordinator sits within the Lean Thinking team, ensuring cross functional development of internal and external teams to deliver Daily Continuous Improvement.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Liase with managers both internal and external to design cross-functional training cohorts
  • Create standard work for effectively communicating & facilitating training sessions to assist lean coaches
  • Establish appropriate communications with training attendees
  • Liaise with lean coaches to maintain the housing and distribution of training assets on to internal intranet tools
  • Management of the course material distribution
  • Provide lean coaches will all information prior to delivery of training
  • Distribute calendar invites and course reminders throughout the training programme, including re-scheduling
  • Create process for effectively following project delivery throughout training – ensuring lean coaches have information & follow-up sessions planned, and projects are completed
  • Escalate any key risks or issues that could affect training
  • Collect feedback from training, establishing key performance metrics and reporting
  • Work with finance to maintain benefit tracking for projects delivered as a result of training
